Yota Goes To School 2025

Lokasi: Kabupaten Bandung, Kabupaten Garut, dan Kabupaten Cianjur The YOTA Goes to School program introduced technology-based educational innovations for children and schools. Activities included distributing 117 physical books to 55 schools and educational institutions across Bandung, Garut, and Cianjur, and publishing 1 digital e-book read by 645 readers via FlipHTML. Children also engaged with 4 educational boardgames, tested 7 YOTA robot demo products, and interacted with 1 chatbot product. The program reached 30 children through direct education, plus 99 additional children, and 2 schools received direct educational sessions. A total of 15 young people, including volunteers, actively participated. As part of environmental action, 100 trees were replanted, each equipped with long-distance ID tracking for sustainable monitoring.

Smart Santri – IoT & Basic Robotics for Environmental Monitoring

Lokasi: Pesantren Darul Falah, Kecamatan Cisewu, Kabupaten Garut The Smart Santri program was a training on IoT and basic robotics for environmental monitoring. It involved 16 students from Darul Falah Islamic Boarding School in Cisewu District, Garut Regency, and lasted for 4 days. Participants learned both theory and practice, creating simple IoT and robotics projects. At the end of the program, they presented their projects to their parents, showcasing their achievements and understanding.

Tim YETC diundang sebagai narasumber dalam acara pelatihan eksternal yang diikuti oleh sekitar 60 pemuda. Materi yang dibawakan berfokus pada pemberdayaan komunitas dan teknologi berkelanjutan, dengan tujuan memperkuat kapasitas generasi muda sebagai agen perubahan.

YETC Leader – Internal Training of Trainer Community Empowerment

This internal training program was designed to strengthen youth leadership capacity through a Training of Trainer (ToT) approach focused on community empowerment. The main subject delivered was sustainable technology, equipping participants with knowledge and skills to be transferred to their communities. A total of 10 young people actively participated in the sessions through Focus Group Discussions (FGD) and Group Training Units (GTU). They were not only recipients of the material but also engaged in discussions, practice, and strategy development for applying sustainable technology within their local contexts. The program served as both a learning platform and a means of reinforcing YETC’s internal network, enabling youth to act as change agents who promote sustainability and community empowerment from within.
